Our flexible suite of services encompasses both off-site and on-site solutions covering all aspects of commercial and legal copying and printing - including both court copying and appeal book preparation.

Data Processing

CCH Workflow Solutions have the capability to asssit you at any stage of the eDiscovery process, from acquisition to presentation. Stage 3 of CCH's 6 Stage eDiscovery Process relates to the processing of the data making it ready for review.

When we recieve data for processing it is analysed using CCH Workflow Solutions Interrogator™. A report is then generated outlining both file or email types and the number of documents that have been provided. This not only creates an audit trail but also allows clients to decide what files CCH Workflow Solutions processes, minimising risk, reducing the data set and ultimately cost.

Depending on the compliance requirement, CCH Workflow Solutions is then able to reduce the data set further using a number of methods, such as filtering based on search terms, date ranges, program files and duplicate emails or files. We can utilise up to 30 different technologies to sort and reduce data sets depending on your data requirements.

One such technology is Equivio. Equivio offers breakthrough technology to detect near-duplicate files. Near-duplicates represent 30-50% of email and document repositories. By grouping the near-duplicates, Equivio helps optimise the document review process.

Another is Discovery Cracker. A vast feature set; built in software fault tolerances and a high demand data processing architecture make Discovery Cracker the most well regarded eDiscovery software available today.

CCH Workflow Solutions can process and convert over 300 different electronic file types including:

  • Email programs including Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Mail, Lotus Notes, Lotus cc:Mail, Eudora, Novell GroupWise, UNIX mail and AOL
  • All Microsoft and Lotus Notes products and programs
  • Programming languages including C and Java source code
  • Multiple image file formats including text files and image files (TIFF, JPG, JPEG, GIF, EPS, PCX, BMP, WMF), HTML or compressed file formats
  • Multiple foreign languages including Japanese, Arabic, Chinese, French, German and others

Once we have processed your materials we can produce load files or data and images to upload into a number of proprietary and 3rd party database systems such as Ringtail, Concordance, CT Summation and more.

CCH Workflow Solutions can convert data stored on nearly any kind of electronic media including:

We employ over 120 full-time staff, and have a trained network of part-time employees to service peak workloads. Our staff include qualified lawyers and paralegals that have undertaken intensive internal training programs in the field in which they are employed.
